An infrared sensor is positioned at the entrance of each coil.When the sensor detects the steel ball approaching, the coil is immediately energized, creating a magnetic force that pulls the ball through its center. As soon as the ball passes through, the power is instantly cut off.Due to inertia, the ball continues rolling toward the next coil, where the process repeats. This cyclic acceleration increases the ball’s speed with every additional coil until it reaches its terminal velocity (saturation speed).
